A group of children from Wainuiomata gave an impromptu performance of the Rod Stewart classic 'I don't want to talk about it,' especially for Savea.

Savea will return to the field in the black jersey for the Wellington leg of the World Sevens Series being held this weekend.

All Blacks Sevens coach Sir Gordon Tietjens says Savea is set to shine during the tournament.

"When he played for me back in 2012 he was outstanding. I think he's a better footballer now," says Tietjans.

"He understands the game, he understands the culture, he understands the hard work needed to be part of this team."
