Red Bull has wasted no time in showing off new star Kiwi V8 Supercars recruit Shane van Gisbergen.
"Gizzy" has taken a prominent role in Red Bull's glitzy launch of their new season which included unveiling the new look the team will carry into the 2016 V8 Supercars Championship which includes the Auckland round at Pukekohe.
In typical Red Bull style, they've released a video with Australian stars Craig Lowndes and Jamie Whincup resuming their roles as 'Cappy' and 'J-Dub', and welcoming van Gisbergen - 'Gizzy' - into the fold.
"I'm pretty excited for this year; it has been a while since it was first announced, so it is a pretty cool feeling seeing the livery and everything coming together in the build-up for the season" said Van Gisbergen.
"I am very impressed with the team so far, it is easy to see why Red Bull Racing Australia has won so many races, Bathursts and Championships."
Fans will get to check out the new livery in the flesh when Whincup wheels his new-look No. 88 Holden out in public for the first time at the 2016 Summernats in Canberra this weekend.
The 2016 V8 Supercars Championship gets underway at the Clipsal 500 Adelaide from March 3-6.
