This morning's man of the match Nehe Milner-Skudder is glad he made up for a mistake in the Rugby World Cup opener after copping some grief from Sonny Bill Williams during the week.
Milner-Skudder was one of the stand-out performers in the All Blacks less than convincing 58-14 win over Namibia after botching a try in the opening win over Argentina.
Williams looked to hand the Hurricanes speedster an easy try in the opener but Milner-Skudder dropped the pass cold.
The All Blacks rookie didn't have any problems with his hands today picking up two tries in the opening half.
"I had a bit of fun out there tonight," he said after the match.
"I was just happy to catch the ball tonight. Sonny Bill's been giving me stick all week and he's been giving me a few passes after training.
Milner-Skudder led the match with 95 metres gained from 10 carries. Milner-Skudder also had a try assist, three clean breaks and beat eight defenders, according to Opta Stats.
Fellow All Blacks winger Julian Savea also had a double and wasn't far behind with 87 metres gained.
"There were a few positives to take out of it but you've got to give credit to Namibia," Milner-Skudder said.
They really fronted and put us under the pump in stages of that game. Hats off to them, they played really well tonight."
