Kiwi golfer Danny Lee has shot into the top 10 after two rounds of the Travelers Championship on the PGA Tour.
Lee shot a three-under 67 today to add to yesterday's four-under 66 to move to seven-under on the tournament, putting him in a share of eighth spot in the Connecticut-based event.
The Kiwi number one jumped up seven spots on the leaderboard, continuing a good run of form which has seen him post five top-25 finishes on the PGA Tour since the start of March.
It was also a great day for Steven Alker, who looked dead and buried through 11 holes, being three-over par for the tournament and five shots outside the cut line.
However, the Hamilton professional strung together three birdies and an eagle over the next four holes to end at two-under for the day and become the last person to make the cut.
Fellow Kiwi Tim Wilkinson shot an even-par 70 to end at one-over through his two rounds, missing the cut.
Bubba Watson leads the tournament by two strokes at 11-under par.
