Black Caps all-rounder Corey Anderson is in line to play against his Northern Districts team-mates at next month's Champions League Twenty20 tournament in India.
Anderson's been selected in the Mumbai Indians squad, with Mumbai to meet ND in qualifying.
"It's going to be a strange feeling playing against Northern Districts - if I am playing against them."
Anderson said it was out of his control.
Anderson said he's basically playing for the highest bidder and while he would have liked to play for ND, he's looking forward to playing for Mumbai.
The Mumbai Indians have had to pay New Zealand Cricket $US150,000 for Anderson's services.
