Elsewhere, Nashville scored seven goals to emphatically end Chicago's winning run, St. Louis' Alexander Steen scored again in the win over Carolina, and the New York Islanders won in a shootout to deepen Detroit's misery.
Phoenix also got goals from Michael Stone, Mike Ribeiro, Connor Murphy and Shane Doan.
Tampa Bay's goals came from Richard Panik, J.T. Brown and Alex Killorn.
Nashville's rookie goaltender Marek Mazanec made 39 saves for his first NHL victory as the Predators beat Chicago 7-2.
Craig Smith scored a goal and added two assists for the Predators, while Matt Cullen, Nick Spaling, Patric Hornqvist, Viktor Stalberg, Mike Fisher and Shea Weber also scored for Nashville.
Patrick Kane and Brandon Pirri had the goals for Chicago, which had won its previous four while the Predators had lost four straight.
