Tracey Nelson crunches the numbers ahead of the All Blacks test against England tomorrow morning

ENGLAND v ALL BLACKS (London, Referee Craig Joubert)

The All Blacks have played England 35 times for 27 wins, 7 losses and one draw. That 7th loss occurred last year when England won 38-21 at Twickenham, which was England's largest ever winning margin over New Zealand and just the second time they had ever beaten the All Blacks by more than 6 points.

England are the only team to have beaten the All Blacks since Steve Hansen took over as head coach after the 2011 RWC. The All Blacks have won 24 tests, lost one, and drawn one since June 2012.

Dan Carter is playing his 100th Test match this weekend and becomes just the second All Black back to reach that milestone, joining Mils Muliaina as a centurion.

It has taken him 10 years to reach his 100th test, and this weekend will be the first time in 2013 that he has played three consecutive test matches after a string of injuries this season. Carter has scored 171 points against England, with 4 tries, 26 conversions and 33 penalties.

Sam Whitelock will play his 50th test, having debuted for the All Blacks in 2010 at age 21. Whitelock has established himself as one of the world's best locks with a workrate to be envied - he is averaging 20 breakdown arrivals and 11.8 tackles per test in 2013.

The All Blacks are fielding the same starting pack that played in last year's loss against England, while only Conrad Smith and Cory Jane are missing from last year's starting backline.

The All Blacks will field the most capped All Blacks players of all time in five positions - Richie McCaw (122 tests), Keven Mealamu (109), Tony Woodcock (106), Daniel Carter (99) and Ma'a Nonu (86).

Kieran Read's try against France last weekend equalled Zinzan Brooke's world record of 14 tries in the No 8 jersey. It took him 59 test matches to do so while Brooke to achieved that feat in his 49th test. Brooke played a total of 58 test matches for the All Blacks.

Last year the All Blacks missed 17 tackles against England. Kieran Read had a game he'd rather forget, missing 3 of those tackles, throwing an intercept pass, and conceding 3 of the All Blacks' 13 penalties.

If England beat the All Blacks this weekend it will be their 7th consecutive home win at Twickenham. The All Blacks have not lost 2 consecutive games against an opponent since they lost 3 games in a row to South Africa in 2009.

Referee Craig Joubert has officiated in 13 All Blacks test matches, of which the All Blacks have won 12, drawn 1, and lost 1. He has never refereed a test match between New Zealand and England. He was the referee when the All Blacks beat Australia in Sydney and Dunedin this year, and penalised the All Blacks an average of 11 times in those games.
