The life of a goalkeeper can at times be a miserable existence.
The great saves, the relentless communication and the intense bravery are all quickly forgotten the instant a keeping mistake takes place.
So spare a thought for the hapless keeper of Serie D side, Delta Porto Tolle who looked to have all bases covered until an unexpected weather development ruined his afternoon.
With his side already 1-0 down to rivals Ischia, and with their opponents back on the attack, the Tolle stopper made a routine, if unspectacular clearance.
However, to his horror he could only watch helplessly as a gust of wind caught hold of the ball and blew it straight back at him and right over the top of his head into the net.
To add insult to injury the Ischia striker made something of a meal of his very little input into the freaky strike.
Ischia went on to claim a 2-1 victory.
