The Heineken Open has lost three high-profile players, with Juan Monaco, Tommy Robredo and Fernando Gonzalez all pulling out of next week's tournament in Auckland.

Monaco (wrist) still plans to play the Australian Open in Melbourne but both Robredo (leg) and Gonzalez (virus) have opted out of the first grand slam of the year.
