Manu Vatuvei's injury curse has struck again, with the giant wing likely to be sidelined for at least two weeks with a wrist injury.
The 25-year-old is one of the game's premier wingers and possesses an outstanding try-scoring record with 87 tries in 127 NRL games.
The Warriors base a lot of their attacking game around the 112kg giant and he can also draw in several opposition defenders, opening up opportunities for team-mates.
He injured his wrist in Saturday night's 26-12 win over Penrith and will be missing from the side to face the Dragons on Sunday when the team is announced later today.
Vatuvei has had a catalogue of injuries, including troubles with his knees and hamstrings, and broke his his right forearm in last year's Four Nations. The club said they hoped Vatuvei would return in a fortnight in time for their first playoff match.
But the Warriors can ill-afford to be without Vatuvei, especially as they search for a top-four finish and a home playoff match. They have two regular season matches against the Dragons and Cowboys before the playoffs begin.
Glen Fisiiahi and Krisnan Inu are the most likely to replace Vatuvei in the side.
