Anyone else notice how the list of top 10 Kiwi losers predominately focuses on the All Blacks? And yet we still treat rugby players like gods. Hmmmmmm.Jw.12:18PM Friday, 26 Oct 2007

Not a surprise to see David Beckham and Arsenal (with all due respect) making it onto the list of 50 greatest British losers. The continuous mentioning of the English football team as sporting losers draws a good parallel with the ABs making up five of the top 10 greatest NZ losers - sure is a slap in the face for both nations' national sports (or so they reckon). Where on Earth is Leeds United, by the way?Cp.12:18PM Friday, 26 Oct 2007

While I understand New Zealands need to take console themselves by highlighting other nations failure. I draw the line at you refering to Ireland as British. By all means take this piss if you like, we didn't even make the quarters. We can actually handle losing a game or six. But don't deny us our one win. P. S graham's your biggest loser for not playing Doug and failing with what I consider a dream team.Irish.12:18PM Friday, 26 Oct 2007

Grow up and stop trying to look at other people to deflect the fact that the AB's are not Gods and they cocked up !Half pom half kiwi.01:24PM Friday, 26 Oct 2007You bitch and moan about the English getting into the finals, yes they may play a non-sexy game of rugby, but the fact is they were there and know what it takes to get there. They are not treated as demi gods if anything the British press enjoys knocking ten bells out of them. So boo hoo. Start playing the game you were so good at. Wake up New Zealand you are becoming a joke on the world stage, go back to basics start proving yourself by playing tougher games. You are only as good as your last win and to be honest that was a while ago.
PS - ban thoose damn "cheese cutters" on the motorways.

Interesting to see Hamish Carter on our list. He gets the award for the biggest turn around 4 years later.H.02:07PM Friday, 26 Oct 2007

We seem to have a simple formula in NZ. Enter a team in an Australian competition, hype up the team's chances of instant success and then comprehensively let everyone down: perform miserably, be permanently short of money and become permanent wooden spooners. The Breakers, The Kingz, Team Kiwi Racing. When will we learn?Pencilpete.02:08PM Friday, 26 Oct 2007
