Sporting sentiment gone wrong: "Unless I've misinterpreted it, I'm not sure if Tui's latest "Bomb'jour France (Yeah Right)" billboard is really that appropriate," writes Andrew. "I assume this is a reference to the Rainbow Warrior or nuclear weapons? If so, I guess we should be thankful that neither Japan, Ireland or South Africa made the world cup final. Otherwise we might be seeing billboards about World War Two, the IRA or apartheid. And I can only imagine the hilarious billboards if North Korea, Iran or Iraq were represented at the world cup. Deadly terrorist acts and weapons of mass destruction shouldn't be the punch line for a beer commercial."

For sale: A great time to be selling the goal posts at the House of Pain...They could be yours for this much.

Quick clip: Did you know...fish can fart?

Picture this: What TWO glasses of wine a day can do to your face in ten years (or what tabloid media will do to make women feel fat and ugly - all the time)

Kids books: Everybody knows the iconic Where The Wild Things Are, but the cover of this children's book also by Maurice Sendak I remember more vividly. In the Night Kitchen (1970) is a surreal story about a young boy named Mickey (who looks a lot like Max) and who falls out of bed (and out of his clothes) and into a dream where he helps three bakers get milk for their cake. Mickey is naked and his genitalia are depicted accurately, which unsurprisingly, led it to be included on the American Library Association's list of the "most challenged books" of the 1990s.

Video: Now might be a good time to bone uyp on how our financial system actually works considering protests are springing up all over the world over the er, distribution of wealth, who better than John Clarke and Bryan Dawe to explain it all...

Cool: You don't have to be an devout Trekkie to think this baby food delivery system is out of this world!

Oily penguins: You asked for more picture of penguins in jumpers [following the shout out for knitters to make woolly sheaths post Rena]...so here they are.

Occasionally marketing doesn't suck #1: A clever series of graphic illustrations showing Hollywood movie clichés created to promote the New York International Latino Film Festival with the line "watch films, not movies. There is a difference".

Occasionally marketing doesn't suck #2: A movie theatre in Belgium is filled with bikers, with the only two seats left right in the middle... How will the different couples react?
