Sonny Bill Williams' agent Khoder Nasser held a secret meeting with All Black coach Steve Hansen at Hamilton's Novotel Tainui hotel on Sunday morning, The Diary can reveal.
The pair held a covert catch-up over coffee in the lobby of the hotel, and Nasser was later photographed exiting the establishment.
Nasser did not deny the meeting when The Diary rang yesterday.
Asked if he was discussing with Hansen a return to the All Blacks squad for his prize star, Nasser, in a bid to keep his cards close to his chest, said anything was possible.
"It would certainly be nice to win two cups, wouldn't it?"

But asked if SBW wants to make the All Blacks squad touring America, England, Scotland and Wales in November, Nasser revealed: "If given the opportunity Sonny Bill would certainly give it his best shot."
The pre-arranged meeting between the high-powered agent and the All Black coach went for about 15 minutes.
"They looked very matey, like old pals discussing the future and planning Sonny Bill's return," said an onlooker.
Agent Khoder Nasser was seen meeting All Blacks coach Steven Hansen in Hamilton.
"Sonny wasn't there. But Khoder did stop to chat to some of the All Blacks after the meeting. He seemed quite comfortable in that AB environment."
Williams has announced his return to New Zealand rugby at the end of the Australasian NRL season. He is leaving the Sydney Roosters and switching codes to play two seasons in the ITM Cup with Counties Manukau and Super Rugby for the Chiefs.
The Sydney Roosters had a bye last weekend, but it's not clear if Williams jetted into the country with Nasser to watch the All Blacks beat England on Saturday night at his old stamping ground.
The day before, he was part of a high-profile line-up of Aussie stars supporting a suicide prevention charity in Sydney.
Williams is expected to settle back in Hamilton when he returns to New Zealand, this time bringing his reportedly pregnant wife Alana. He will be house-hunting with family in mind.
Nasser was tight-lipped on that front: "You ask a lot of questions, don't you," he laughed.
