Pikiao Warriors will be looking to bounce back from a big defeat at the hands of Taniwharau last weekend when the Pacific Sharks come to Puketawhero Park this afternoon.
The Sharks have a one loss, one win record, going down to Hamilton City Tigers in round one, then recovering to beat Taupo Phoenix 40-24 in round two. Pikiao had the round one bye.
While Pikiao will be keen to get their season on track, Ngongotaha Chiefs will be looking to build on last weekend's 32-22 victory over Hamilton's United after losing out to Turangawaewae in the opening round. The task won't be easy, with the Chiefs travelling to Hamilton to take on unbeaten City Tigers at Resthills Park. Tigers opened their Waicoa Bay campaign with an 18-12 win over Pacific Sharks and followed that with a 33-24 home victory over Otumoetai Eels.
Elsewhere the Eels host the Phoenix in Tauranga and Taniwharau host United.
