The Rotorua BMX Club have brought home three national titles from the BMX national championships in Tauranga.
The three-day event was shortened to two days at the weekend after poor weather hit the Bay of Plenty.
The opening ceremony and practice runs were held on Saturday and the racing was staged yesterday in wet conditions at the Tauranga BMX track.
Rotorua BMX Club riders Ryan Hastings (8-year-old boys), Megan Williams (10-year-old girls) and Dave Mohi (40-49 years) all won national titles yesterday.
Team manager Jodene Williams said it was a great weekend, despite the conditions.
"I'm proud of all the riders. Everyone rode really well in the conditions," she said.
"Everyone had a great time and it was a fantastic event."
She said there were a few slips and spills during the races but no-one in the club suffered any serious injury.
Some of the other Rotorua riders who finished on the podium were Lachlan Stevens-McNab, Jenna Hastings, Will Skipper, Bellah Birchall, Dan Butterworth, Meg Short, Maggie Donovan-Cotter and Ashley Coleman.
The Rotorua BMX Club team included 47 riders.
