Following the success of this year's event the Rotorua Summer Seafood Festival is set to return next month.
The festival, hosted by Te Arawa Fisheries, will be held during the Auckland Anniversary Weekend on Sunday January 29 where the region's best seafood and local talent will be on show at the lakefront.
Over 1,000 tickets were sold for the inaugural event last January.
Event manager Tia Smith said specialists from throughout the Bay of Plenty will be offering delicious seafood delights for sale from an array of food stalls with the region's homegrown talent to take the stage, including an exciting headline announcement yet to be made.
Ms Smith said the Summer Seafood Festival will showcase the best food, entertainment, and scenery that the region had to offer. People could spend the day sampling the variety of seafood offerings at the al fresco eating space and enjoy the on-stage entertainment while relaxing on the Village Green.
