Two men charged with murdering a Kinloch man have appeared in the Rotorua District Court today. Whakapumatanga Clarke, 25, and Cody Paul Griffin, 25, farm hand, are jointly charged with Daniel George Chase, 22, of murdering Scott John Henry at Taupo on July 20. All three accused are from Taupo.

The trio are also jointly charged with robbing Mr Henry of a green Ridgline Pikau bag and its contents while armed with a firearm.
Griffin and Clarke appeared before Judge Maree MacKenzie today.
A fourth person, Natasha Telford, 43, from Taupo, also appeared before Judge MacKenzie and entered no plea to a charge of being a party to robbing Mr Henry of a green Ridgline Pikau bag and its contents while armed with a firearm.
All four were remanded without plea to reappear in the High Court at Rotorua on September 27.
A fifth person appeared in court earlier today before a community magistrate relating to the police investigation into Mr Henry's death.
The man, a 35-year-old bushman from Taupo, did not enter pleas to four charges of offering to supply methamphetamine. The charges relate to alleged offences via mobile phone on August 9, 15, 28 and September 2.
He was remanded in custody to reappear on September 19.
Mr Henry, 48, died from a single gunshot to the chest and was later found by a family member at his property in Whangamata Rd at Kinloch.
