If you want to really treat your mum this Sunday, take her to the Waikato/BOP Magic showdown with the Southern Steel where she can watch other people do the hard yards.
It's going to be a gritty tussle of the titans and a fantastic spectacle for netball fans, with the two top teams going head to head once again.
The Steel had the better of the Magic earlier in the season and hometown crowd support might be crucial to a win for the locals.
"Having a home game is a huge deal to the team, especially a tough game against the Steel who are top of the ladder and remain unbeaten," said Hannah Southgate-McNeil, Netball Waikato/Bay of Plenty communications officer.
"The players love having all their Magic supporters there to cheer them on and their families enjoy being able to come and support the team.
"Sam Sinclair is a Rotorua local so I'm sure her family will be there and Monica Falkner is from Whakatane and her family come to support her. The Magic are second on the ladder so a win against the Steel would help them cement that place going into finals."
Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic are giving fans the chance to make mum a VIP this Sunday.
Fans can go in the draw to upgrade their tickets to courtside VIP seats by entering Magic's Facebook competition. A winner will be drawn at 12pm on Sunday.
A Beko League game will be played at 4pm between the Magic and Steel teams after the premier game.
