A small scrub fire in Rotorua has been quickly put out by firefighters.

A Rotorua Fire Brigage crew was called to a fire at 3.02pm today behind the Waste Water Treatment Plant and Archery Club on Te Ngae Rd.

Rotoru Fire Brigade station officer Tony Kelly said it was 5m by 5m and took about 10 minutes to put out.
