A Rotorua pair have won at the New Zealand Culinary and Hospitality Awards.
Nathan Shuangshen Liu from Skyline Rotorua took out Pastry Chef of the Year while Sudima Hotel's Varun Kumar was named Bartender of the Year at the the awards ceremony at Auckland's Logan Campbell Centre last night.
Over the last four days, the rising stars of New Zealand's culinary and hospitality industry cooked their hearts out at the 'NZChefs National Salon', the industry's annual championship event.
