UPDATE: Crash on Ngongotaha Rd (+video)

UPDATE:

An 80-year-old man was taken to Rotorua Hospital with a minor arm injury.

Emergency services, including fire, police and ambulance, attended the scene.

There was a road block in place for about an hour as emergency services cleared the scene and directed traffic.

EARLIER:

Emergency services are on their way to a crash on Ngongotaha Rd.

Police northern communications Inspector Andy Brill said a vehicle had rolled at the Fairy Springs end of Ngongotaha Rd.

Emergency services, including fire and ambulance, were on the way to the scene.

He said the road was blocked, but police had just arrived and Mr Brill was unsure whether it would remain that way.

A reporter on the way to the scene said there was "massive traffic build up" on the way out to Ngongotaha.

She said Fire crews were also on their way to the scene.
