The slopes of Mt Ngongotaha will be pumping on Saturday with top Kiwi performers entertaining the crowds on what's expected to be the biggest day of Crankworx Rotorua.

The Peacekeepers - a side project of Shapeshifter members P Digsss, Sambora and Nicky Research - and Sunshine Soundsystem's MC KP, will be performing live after the Crankworx Rotorua Slopestyle at Skyline Rotorua.

Trinity Roots' DJ Nero has been on site all week playing from the Red Bull Hummer stage, while the Hummer will be parked at Eat Streat tomorrow night from 10pm to 11pm, for a late night set.

Red Bull Entertainment have lined up the music for an epic Saturday on the mountain which will see Crankworx Rotorua Slopestyle from 3pm to 5.30pm, live music from 6pm to 7.45pm, and the inaugural Deep Summer Photo Competition from 8pm to 9.30pm.

Crankworx Rotorua event director Tak Mutu said he's stoked to have live music on site this year.

"It's going to be insane - slopestyle, live music, jumps happening and Deep Summer - it's kind of the perfect day.

"Crankworx Rotorua is about more than just epic riding - it's a fully immersive entertainment experience, from the gourmet food and drinks on offer to the life and energy of our exhibitor and sponsor zones.

"To top it off Red Bull NZ have stepped in to ensure that the experience is complete with an exciting music line up - it's going to go off," Mr Mutu said.

Crankworx Rotorua brings the world's best downhill, slopestyle and enduro riders together with fans, rising stars, industry innovators and the next generation of mountain bike riders for five days of competition, concerts and mountain bike culture.
