Taupo band Hot Tub is coming to Rotorua to raise the temperature at the Rotorua Jazz Club.
The contingent of musicians was an exciting and playful funk band and it was nice to have them as the Jazz Club's first event of the year, said promotions officer Delight Gartlein.
The 15-piece group includes saxes, trombones, trumpets, keyboard, flute, drums, guitar, and vocalists.
Playing a wide range of music from Dixieland and Jazz to Funk and R&B, they have played at the Rotorua Jazz Club before, and now have a reputation for providing a fantastic evening of listening and dancing.
"They're a younger band with some exceptionally good musicians in the group who play with a lot of spirit," she said.
Jazz Club nights are open to the general public .
Ms Gartlein encourages anyone who loves music to get along.
