After a four year hiatus, the Women's Lifestyle Expo has come back to Rotorua showcasing a bunch of new stall holders.
With almost 100 stalls, it's worth grabbing your girlfriends and heading down to the Rotorua Energy Events Centre to catch the two-day event.
Hamilton retro and vintage retailer 19 Black are visiting Rotorua for the first time and owner Judy Williams said she and mother Lyn Warren-Jackson were excited to show their large range of unique shoes.
"We got into the retro merchandise through a family love of classic cars, and following the car circuit. So now we sell retro clothing, accessories and shoes. Our shoes are unique, funky, and some of them are limited edition," she said.
"I have been selling online since 2008, but recently opened a store in Hamilton. We have attended a few expos, but this is our first time in Rotorua and we are hoping for a huge crowd over the weekend.
Renee Murray from NZME Events, organiser of the expo said thousands of visitors were expected over the weekend with women coming from all around the region.
A popular exhibitor involved this year is Shiseido brands Moisture Mist and Za who will be promoting their skincare and makeup brands to visitors.
- The expo runs from 10am to 5pm
today and tomorrow. Door sales
are $10 for adults and children
under 12 are free.
