Engelina Ulrich has notched up at least two decades' service in each of her other jobs - so she's hoping to do the same this time around.
Two decades for the same employer is no small achievement for anyone, let alone an 82-year-old who still has another three years to go before she clocks up the milestone.
Mrs Ulrich said she retired for "about two months" before being approached by the owner of Mountain Jade, John Sheehan, who needed customer-focused staff.
She works four days a week, something she puts down to her good health and enjoyment of the job.
"I've always enjoyed working."
Mrs Ulrich said it was that - not financial reasons - that kept her in the workforce.
But she admitted that once she marked two decades, which will be at the grand age of 85 or 86, she's likely to finally retire - and this time for good.
Mrs Ulrich said she loved meeting the new people who came into the shop.
"A lot of people from overseas come into the shop, it is all very pleasant."
She believed customers felt comfortable taking advice from her, which was an advantage she had over some of the younger workers.
Mountain Jade's Sabine Willemsen said Mrs Ulrich was an inspiration to some of the younger workers.
"She usually works from 9.30am to 6pm, she's always on her feet and most importantly, she's always with customers, always busy."
Ms Willemsen said Mrs Ulrich's wealth of experience in hospitality and retail were evident.
"She does know a lot and is an inspiration."
