A former Rotorua Salvation Army captain, charged with doing an indecent act in a public place, has made his second appearance in Rotorua District Court.
Brian Noel Martin, 64, appeared briefly before a registrar this morning but did not enter a plea.
Martin's lawyer, Andy Schulze, requested the case be adjourned a fortnight and said the charge could possibly be resolved.
The offence is alleged to have happened on December 6 in Amohia St, Rotorua and carries a maximum penalty of two years' imprisonment.
