Rotorua music fans will have the chance to sing along to folk-rock classics under the stars tonight at Vegas City Limits.
The Hard Core Troubadours made up of Rob Joass, Kim Bonnington, Dusty Burnell and Hamish Graham are playing from 8pm.
Rob Joass is a familiar face among the folk legends in New Zealand, having appeared solo, with Hobnail and The Shot Band and now with Hard Core Troubadours.
Tickets are available from Musicworks and Eventfinder for $20.
Event organiser Karin Vincent said people familiar with Vegas City Limits' Garden Stage in Hamurana would know what an "awesome live music venue it is".
"Its a magical live music venue, a natural amphitheatre, surrounded by native bush, and beautiful views from the large deck hugging the front of the house.
"There is enough room for 100 people to sit and enjoy live music comfortably. John and Natascha, owners of Vegas City Limits, are generously supporting the Rogue Stage by opening their private home for this occasion."
The gig is BYO and car pooling is strongly advised.
Parking is available near the house and the gate will be signposted.
For each ticket purchased there is an opportunity to buy Robert Joass' solo CD for $10.
