A stolen car believed to be used by two men wanted in connection with an aggravated robbery of a bank has been found in Rotorua.
Police have released photos of the man who is alleged to have entered the ANZ Bank in Greerton, Tauranga yesterday and demanded money from a teller.
Two offenders are believed to be involved with one inside the bank and the second outside.
The second offender is described as male, Maori of Pacific Islander aged between 20-30-years-old of medium build.
He was wearing a dark coloured sleeveless top, sunglasses and dark coloured 'cargo style' shorts. He had short dark hair.
Police believe that the vehicle used by these alleged offenders was a Nissan Pulsar coloured dark grey with a registration number of XD 2541.
The car was stolen from Te Awamutu yesterday morning, and was recovered by police in Rotorua this morning.
Police are appealing for any information concerning the movements of this vehicle in the Waikato-Bay of Plenty areas from midday yesterday, and from anyone who recognises the offenders.
