The biennial Rotorua District Festival of Gardens, to be held next year, will again provide an exciting platform to share ideas and tips with garden owners and other visitors.
Held over three days, from November 13-15, the festival will highlight at least 40 gardens throughout the district, from tiny town gardens to large rural properties.
The BayTrust Rescue Helicopter is again set to benefit after receiving $15,000 from the festival in 2013.
The gardens are chosen by the organisers who aim to continually raise the bar and offer diversity.
The organisers are a voluntary team who are pleased to share their enthusiasm for gardening, in addition to their organising skills, to ensure the best possible festival is presented.
Every festival has enjoyed beautiful gardens to view and consistently warm and friendly welcome extended to visitors.
The owners open their gardens voluntarily, without a gate fee, ensuring the maximum amount of money goes to The BayTrust Rescue Helicopter.
The festival has provided a platform for visitors to enjoy Rotorua's myriad of restaurants, spas and other activities.
Last year's festival brought about $250,000 to the local economy.
