He's done it again.
Rotorua Daily Post chief photographer Stephen Parker has picked up another prestigious award to add to his collection, this time taking out the best feature photo category in the 2014 Canon New Zealand Media Awards.
The winner was announced at the awards evening in Auckland on Friday night.
Rotorua Daily Post editor Kim Gillespie said Mr Parker's latest award was testament to the great effort he put into each and every photo.
"Our readers have the benefit of waking up to the best news photography in the country in each day's morning paper."
This year's Canon Media Awards attracted a record 1687 entries - 21 per cent higher than last year's tally of 1390 which was itself a record.
Mr Parker was last year named Senior Photographer of the Year at the Canon Media Awards, while fellow Rotorua Daily Post photographer Ben Fraser was this year named APN Regional Photographer of the Year.
Mr Parker's winning photo was taken at last year's Te Arawa Secondary Schools Kapa Haka Championships and features winning group Raukura from Rotorua Boys' High School and Rotorua Girls' High School.
