Rising music star Rehua Selwyn has had a visit from Sons of Zion frontman Rio Panapa.
A YouTube video of the 13-year-old Te Wharekura o Ngati Rongomai student singing Rod Stewart's I Don't Want To Talk About It has had nearly 120,000 views.
Panapa, formerly of Rotorua, saw the video on Facebook, loved it and wanted to meet Rehua. At the Rotoiti school today the pair chatted about music before performing the song together for a documentary film crew.
Panapa is one of the organisers of the Aotearoa Reggae All Stars, a collection of New Zealand reggae music artists who last week released a remake of Herbs classic Sensitive to a Smile, to raise awareness and money for the fight against child abuse.
