Entries are now closed for the The Daily Post's first Instagram photo competition, however, Rotorua residents can still get involved by voting for their favourites.
The competition, called Uniquely Rotorua, encouraged people to take photos of something which they think represented Rotorua.
About 50 entries were received.
The photos needed to be taken in November and submitted though a social network called Instagram, which is
essentially a photo-sharing app.
Entries closed midday yesterday and from today people can look at all the entries and vote for their favourite.
All photos can be seen on The Daily Post website via the gallery Uniquely Rotorua photo competition.
There is also a poll where people can pick their favourite image.
Voting closes on Sunday December 9.
The most popular photos will make up the finalists and The Daily Post photographers will then pick a winning image with the winner being announced in The Daily Post on December 15.
The winner will enjoy dinner and a movie thanks to our competition sponsors _ restaurant Kurious Kiwi and Rotorua's Reading Cinemas.
