Students from Kaharoa School joined five other schools from around Rotorua for a Tech Angels Day at Aorangi School recently.
As part of the Tech Angels Day we had a photo competition to spell our school names using photos.
We were not allowed to make or touch the letters, they already had to be there.
There were prizes for first, second and third.
In third place was Kawaha Point School, second was St Mary's Catholic School and first was Kaharoa School.
Second and third prizes won their photos on an A3 canvas.
First place won photos on an A2 canvas. The Kaharoa photo was created by Year 6 students Lilly Dixon, Emily Hammond, Kira Lees and Tayla Vanner.
The Tech Angels Day is a unique event offered to schools across New Zealand to challenge the way everyone learns - both students and teachers.
It was started by a group of Wellington Girls' College students.
