A bus got stuck under the awning of the old ASB building in central Auckland after a collision with another bus this morning.
Two Ritchies buses crashed at the intersection of Wellesley and Albert streets about 10.05am, Senior Sergeant Simon Welsh said.
"The resulting crash caused one of the buses to hit the ASB building on the corner and become wedged under the overhang.
"There were few passengers on both buses and there were no injuries.''
Police were investigating the cause of the crash.
Mr Welsh said the bus was unable to get out itself, and it would have been towed out.
After media reports referred to the ASB building, the bank tweeted: "Don't they know that we've moved to Wynyard Quarter?'' and linked to its blog
