We came here because a Trade Me purchase needed picking up nearby.
Parking was easy in the Westfield carpark opposite.
We walked in and thought we might have to go somewhere else as the place was packed. Luckily we spotted a spare couple of perches at a bench and nabbed them.
The most unusual thing on the menu was nothing in particular.
It was good that both the breakfast and lunch menus were available, as this was late morning and allowed us a larger selection to choose from.
We ordered marinated field mushrooms and roast vege salad with walnuts, haloumi, hummus and mustard vinaigrette ($18.95) and the prawn, chorizo and mushroom linguine with pesto, sundried tomatoes, baby spinach and pecorino ($19.95).
The service was a bit confused. The place was busy, but we were twice offered something we had not ordered by an obviously flustered waitress.
The coffee was just right.
We recommend if you come here take time after your meal to investigate the deli side of the business. Lots of lovely cheeses, condiments, grocery items, etc. Be prepared to wait for a table if it's busy.
Overall we thought Zarbo is a good place to come if you want a sure-fire tasty meal.
