If you're a regular on dating apps such as Tinder and OkCupid, you might think that romance is dead.
But one man has proved that there are still people making kind and thoughtful gestures in the name of love even in 2017, reported the Daily Mail.
And his edible gift, which he presented to a woman on their second date, is even better than a bunch of flowers.
Though a bouquet of posies is a more traditional romantic gift, the unknown man decided he would instead presented the unnamed woman with a bunch of kale and collard greens after she told him she was a vegan on their first date.
The woman was so thrilled that she posted a picture of her delicious bouquet on Reddit under the username rundarthmittens.
Many of the commenters agreed that the man seemed to be a 'keeper'.
The woman posted the photo online with the caption: "I went on a first date the other day, and it came up that I was vegan.
"On the second date he brought me a couple bunches of kale from his garden."
Dr Ronny pointed out: "I think he likes you," while another said: "How thoughtful! He's a keeper :)".
User christopherfitz urged the woman to "marry him," while another said: "That's really sweet. Keep the guy.
"He cares enough about your diet, he wants you healthy and alive and cares about how you feel about certain subjects you take serious."
One joked about the fact the woman brought up the fact she was a vegan on the first date - a riff on a long-running joke amongst vegans and non-vegans that those who adhere to the diet always mention their restricted cuisine at the first possible opportunity.
There's no word yet on whether the woman and man are going on a third date, but it seems likely after such a thoughtful gift.
