A 98-year-old great gran has had the time of her life at a fully nude strip show.
Betty Wright told staff at her residential home that seeing a stripper was something she had always wanted to do - as she had to miss out on a raunchy show last year after breaking her hip.
Despite being shocked by her request, the care home kept its promise and duly booked tickets to see a "Dreamboys" performance.
On Wednesday (June 21) Betty went with her carer Tanya Jones, daughter Terri White and another care home resident to see the two hour show.
And the racy great gran liked it so much she has already put next year's show in her diary.
Ryan Moring, manager of The Haven residential home in Colchester, Essex, said: "She absolutely loved it!
"I rang my deputy manager on the night to see how it had gone, and she grabbed the phone and told me all about it.
"To be honest she could have spared me some of the details, but she's a saucy old girl.
"Her highlights were the full nudity, and when Tanya got dragged up on stage to join in.
"Everyone loves her here at the home. She's such a lovely character.
"It made my day to hear how happy she was."
Betty had been talking about seeing a stripper for over a year, and was originally booked to see The Dreamboys in Southend six months ago.
However, she sadly broke her hip when she fell out of bed and could not make the show.
Betty was upset about having to cancel but bounced back to be fit enough for the Colchester performance.
Ryan said: "We were really worried about her when she broke her hip.
"She was 97 years old and some people don't recover from that.
"She is an a wheelchair, but she has a strong spirit and recovered really well.
"Betty was so upset when she realised she would not make it to the show.
"As soon as we found out Dreamboys was coming to Colchester, we booked the tickets immediately.
"She had been looking forward to this for a long time."
The outing was supported by the home's Sparkle initiative, in which staff raise money to help make residents' dreams come true.
Ryan said: "We do all sorts to make sure the residents can experience what they want to.
"We're currently waiting for a passport to arrive so we can take a gentleman to Paris, as he really wants to see the Eiffel Tower.
"All our staff are in-house, and so they get to know the residents really well. We're all happy to take part in fundraisers so we can make their dreams come true."
The Dreamboys' website describes them as "undeniably the most successful and famous male strippers in UK history".
David Richards, manager and creator of The Dreamboys, said: "We were delighted to have Betty at our tour show in Colchester! It was her dream to see the guys perform and we were happy to be a part of making this a reality.
"Our shows have something for everyone and that's reflected in the diverse audiences who attend. Age wise, we have women in their early 20', all the way through to ladies in their 80s attending the tour.
"The show is packed with fun, humour, impressive choreography and tease. These elements fused together means we offer a night out that everyone from your sister and friend, through to your mum and nan can enjoy.
"We love seeing all the generations at our show and believe that no matter what your age, there's still a space for fun and a touch of naughtiness. Betty certainly has a cheeky streak and we were beyond happy to indulge it!"
