Rumours of a royal romance between Prince Harry and Princess Maria-Olympia have been rubbished by a senior royal source.
New Idea Australia alleged the 31-year-old royal was linked to Princess Maria-Olympia of Greece and Denmark, after being introduced by Harry's cousin Princess Beatrice.
The magazine reported the prince was "head over heels" with the 19-year-old, who is being labelled the new royal "it" girl.
A source told the magazine: "He's absolutely smitten, they've been on a string of dates and are planning to go skiiing in Switzerland before Easter."
It was also alleged that Harry's big brother Prince William and his wife Catherine were delighted by the match, deeming her his "best girlfriend yet".
But a royal source told The Daily Mail the claims are not true, and that the Prince and Princess are distantly related descendants of Queen Victoria.
