Thatcher: 'Pursued a draconian policy of militarism'

The former leader of Sinn Fein Gerry Adams, who clashed with Margaret Thatcher over the fate of Northern Ireland, on Monday said the former British prime minister had played a "shameful role' in hunger strikes and had pursued a draconian policy of militarism. Thatcher died on Monday from a stroke.
