Q: My Slingshot issues have been mostly technical - trouble getting on to a website, disconnecting with the server and hopelessly slow.

There is a separate username/password entry for your account and webmail, which seems ridiculous - if I'm logged into my account shouldn't I be able to reach my mail? - Emma, Northland

A: Your connection problems were a password issue, which is now fixed.

A spokesman said Slingshot had launched a new webmail platform, which it would tell customers about over the next few weeks.

The separate login is a security feature. Some people have a different password so their children can't make changes to the account.
