Police Commissioner Howard Broad has acknowledged and expressed regret over the hurt caused to Maori by last year's anti-terror raids.
At a Wainuiomata Marae hui Mr Broad also spoke of differing opinions with his advisers over the raids. He did not rule out a future apology to Maori.

    Absolutly the police done the right thing, if these mugs don't wont to be part of the normal NZ society then they get whatever the police see as been fit. Aso as a caution to these people, be very careful not to wake a sleeping giant because middle NZer's might just bite back.

    Who knows, I am sure they have reasons for it, and rightfully will not go into details with the media, bacause they have a job to do. I am sure the media are spinning the most sesnational story they can make up, because thats what they do, and I sure Mr Minto is spinning the most left wing, anti-police story, because that what he does.

    Among this all is the true, which the courts will eventually get to. Until then, it's all just speculation for the purpose of each group promoting its own self interest. Unfortunatly the average New Zealander is too dumb to realise this, so they just beleive what they read in the the media, condensed down to a reading age eight year olds can understand.

    Hell yes the police actions were justified. It's a pity they didn't knock a few of the pricks off and save some tax payers' money.

    Yes, months of surveillance not carried out by the Police for no reason at all. Suppose all will be revealed over the coming months. A group of activists planning to invade the beehive ? The mind boggles.

    Of course the police's actions were justified and the only people complaining are those with a guilty conscience as they know they will be next. Honest citizens have nothing to fear.
