Heavy snow is wreaking havoc across parts of the South Island this morning with trees down across the Wakatipu region and power cut to homes and businesses. Overnight snow has fallen to low levels leaving power outages in and around Arrowtown, Dalefield and the Lower Shotover. Schools have delayed start times and flights out of Queenstown Airport have been disrupted.
