Two people were stabbed and a teenager celebrating his 18th birthday was bottled as a party descended into bloodshed last night. The carnage unfolded during birthday celebrations in Ruahine St, Avondale, just before 9pm. Resident Bernadette Falaniko, 26, was said to be the first victim, stabbed in her home. The alleged knifeman, 17, is then understood to have been stabbed himself, by another local man. The second knife carrier was arrested after trying to hide in rubbish bins in another property.
