A 28-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly presenting threatening notes during the robbery of two Auckland banks within 30 minutes yesterday afternoon.
Money was taken from both the Onehunga WestpacTrust and the Queen St ANZ when a robber passed notes saying he had a bomb.
He had travelled between the banks in a taxi.
The man, of no fixed abode, appeared in Auckland District Court this afternoon charged with robbing both banks and was remanded to a later date.
