Speculation that missing actress Tania Ellwood was one of two bodies found in Dryden Lodge continues to mount as an eerie video taken inside the halfway house after the grisly discovery has emerged online.

A man who is known as Al Cameno online, posted a live video to Facebook as he walked around the empty halls of Dryden Lodge on Tuesday evening.

In the video, he speaks in the dark with an unseen woman who tells him "it was Tania" who died in Dryden Lodge.

Al Cameno is heard saying he knew her and that "she was a real nice lady".

Ellwood was last seen in Newmarket.

Police would not confirm the identity of the bodies yesterday but said they were aware of speculation.

"However as formal identification has not yet taken place, we are not in a position to comment any further on this."

Yesterday, the landlord told the Herald "my tenants have been through a lot" but declined to comment further.

At the time the downstairs level of the Grey Lynn property had been partially cordoned off and police were donning face masks and overalls to enter the cordon.
