Northbound traffic is gridlocked on Auckland's Southern Motorway after a crash this morning.
The crash happened just before 6.30am, in the citybound middle lane after Princes St.
A police spokeswoman said three-cars collided but no one was injured. A tow truck is on its way.
The NZ Transport Agency said all lanes had just re-opened at 7.40 after being blocked while emergency services cleared debris.
Traffic was congested in the area and motorists should expect delays.
Traffic on all of Auckland's motorways heading toward the city was also heavy, the agency said.
The queue to get on the motorway at Onewa Rd was back to New World supermarket near Balmain Rd.
