Police have released a photo of Quade Tai, who is on the run after failing to return to prison after his brother Morrocco's funeral last week.
Morrocco Mal Tai, 15, died on Monday after the car he was driving crashed in Otara in the early hours of the morning.
He had fled police in the stolen car and when it crashed his two female passengers, aged 16, were seriously injured.

Morrocco's funeral was held on Friday and Quade Tai, 20, was released from prison to attend.
He had been remanded in custody after appearing in the Manukau District Court on charges including assaulting police, injuring police, burglary and producing and procuring methamphetamine.
His next court date is October 31 for a case review hearing.
He applied for bail when his brother died.
He appeared in the Manukau District Court last week and was granted temporary release on bail from Mt Eden Corrections Facility to attend Morrocco's funeral.
A condition of that bail was that Quade Tai return to the prison by a specified time after the service on Friday.
He failed to return and is now wanted by police.
This morning they released a photograph of Quade Tai after obtaining an arrest warrant from the court.
"Police are looking for 20-year-old Quade Tai who has a warrant for his arrest for assaulting police and burglary," Counties Manukau police said on Facebook.
"Quade is described as male, 173cm and of medium build.
"He is known to the Otara, Glen Innes and Point England areas, but could be anywhere in greater Auckland."
