Police are hunting two men following the armed robbery of a Bay of Plenty TAB yesterday afternoon.

No one was hurt but those at the Bethlehem TAB were traumatised after two men, believed to carrying a firearm, robbed staff of a small amount of cash, police said in a media statement today.

The incident at the Bethlehem Shops of State Highway 2 occurred about 1.20pm and the men, aged in their late 20s or early 30s, fled in a white-coloured 1993 Nissan Sentra, police said.

The vehicle, which was stolen from the front of the store and has not been found, has the registration number SB330.
