Police are hunting three robbers who assaulted an Auckland dairy employee and a customer with an iron bar last night.
Detective Senior Sergeant Marcia Murray said Auckland Police needed the public's help to find the car used in the robbery in Onehunga.
The masked robbers targeted a dairy on Arthur St at 5.55pm on Saturday evening, she said.
A worker was assaulted and suffered a cut to the head, and a customer standing at the counter was also assaulted, Murray said. Police believe an iron bar was used.
The robber are thought to be male. They left in a stolen black Honda Civic, registration CYD857.
The car was stolen earlier in an aggravated robbery where a man was attacked and had his car keys taken from him.
The victims are receiving support, Murray said.
"A full scene examination has been carried out at the dairy, and investigators are determined to find the perpetrators."
If anyone sees the car in which the three offenders fled, they can contact the Crime Squad on 09 302 6557. Information can also be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
