An Auckland Airbnb host has refused to rent to Maori and Pasifika people.
A woman, who asked to remain anonymous, spotted the listing on Airbnb last week.
The initial listing said: "Not suitable for alcolism, smoking opium, no Maori plz."
She contacted Airbnb who removed it, but just days later the same host put up a second listing which said: "Not suitable for alcoholism, smoking opium, no Maori people, no island people."
The online booking company has since removed the discriminatory listings for the four-bedroom Flat Bush home, but the person who complained is still waiting to receive a response from the service.
A Human Rights Commission spokeswoman said it was not acceptable to discriminate based on race, Fairfax reported.
"A property owner or their agent who discriminates against people because of their race, age, sex, sexual orientation, family status or disability risks breaking the Human Rights Act."
